Be true to yourself. That's the mantra that has driven Alice Weich throughout her life and to a successful career at Kleinschmidt. After being with Kleinschmidt for over 30 years, and being the top sales person for most of that time, she has decided to retire.

She was born in Milwaukee. Much of her childhood was spent growing up in Michigan with three brothers and a sister. Her mother has and always will be her biggest inspiration.

Alice has always been an animal lover and currently has three cats; Tommy, Tracy and Maxie and two adorable dogs; Kelly and Bella, who are considered friends and not just dogs. She has cared for many animals over the years, nursing some back from very poor health to being lively and loving pets.

Before arriving at Kleinschmidt, Alice attended college, worked in the Insurance industry, and then went on to be the Personnel Director for Pullman Bank.

At Kleinschmidt, Alice was the first woman in sales, which was a challenge she proudly accepted. During the past 15 years, she was the number one sales person 8 times and the number two sales person 5 times. From the beginning, she developed strong relationships with companies who became customers. Most of those companies are still Kleinschmidt customers today, which is a testament to Alice's dedication. She leaves us as an Assistant Vice President of Sales after her successful tenure at Kleinschmidt. What a track record!

Retirement will not slow Alice down! She will be busy as ever spending more time with family and friends. She also plans to travel more, hoping to top her two favorite places, Alaska and Paris. Politics is one of her passions and she will continue to support the GOP and Sarah Palin. In her spare time, she will catch up on reading and the latest comedies on the big screen.

We are thankful for all that Alice has brought to Kleinschmidt and the friendships that were formed, which will continue for years to come.

Congratulations Alice... enjoy retirement... we all wish you the best!
